Castle Bank Residential Care Home

Castlebank Residential Care Home is situated in the small market town of Tow Law in County Durham. Established for 15 years, the home has recently been extensively refurbished creating a fresh and homely atmosphere for residents and guests alike, with an exceptional reputation for an excellent standard of personal care and residential support for the older person. The home currently provides residential/dementia care for 31 older persons. Our Commission for Social Care Inspection Report is readily available and a copy can be supplied upon request.

Castlebank has two large and one small lounge/dining rooms as well as a conservatory and extremely well maintained communal garden. In addition there is a separate lounge for quiet reflection. Our rooms are comfortably furnished and equipped with nurse call system. All residents are encouraged to personalise their own rooms and we are happy for residents to bring in their own pictures, ornaments and furniture.

All staff at Castlebank are highly trained and extremely caring. The residential home was the first of X9's in the group and in recent years has gone from strength to strength building an extremely high reputation, well regarded by residents, families and the local authority.
